CICERO, N.Y. (WSTM) — A paroled ex-employee was arrested after threatening to kill staff members at a New York Wendy's restaurant, police said.
Cicero Police responded to the Wendy's location around 5 p.m. Wednesday on reports of an ex-employee threatening to kill various employees.
The ex-employee was identified as 28-year-old Saio Barzee. Police were advised that Barzee displayed a handgun and made multiple threats to kill people and then left the scene.
It was learned that Barzee was on parole and was wearing a GPS ankle monitor. Cicero Police, along with assistance from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police and parole, were able to track Barzee down.
He was taken into custody without incident.
