Theft, Town Center Boulevard
Police responded to a reported theft at Geeked Out Pub & Grille July 11. The owner of the business reported having surveillance video of a former employee taking approximately $200 cash from another employee’s purse at 12:43 p.m. July 10, adding that the company wished to press charges against the suspect.
Fireworks, Pinewood Drive
Police reported issuing fireworks citations to residents on Pinewood Drive and Jefferson Avenue July 4. In the first incident, police responded to a group of persons discharging fireworks in the middle of Pinewood Drive, one of whom admitted to ownership of the fireworks. In the second instance, a man was seen “actively discharging large fireworks” on Jefferson Avenue and was cited by police. Reports noted that the man had also been previously warned for discharging fireworks.
Drugs, Center Road
A driver was pulled over at 6:07 p.m. July 7 and cited for a traffic violation and marijuana possession. The driver reportedly admitted to having a marijuana cigarette.
Property damage, Wolff Drive
A Wolff Drive resident requested extra patrols of her property after finding damage to the back door of her garage July 8. The woman suspected the damage was caused overnight.
DUS/Falsification, Brunswick Lake Parkway
A driver was cited for driving under suspension after a traffic stop at 10:14 p.m. July 10. The driver was stopped for having an expired registration sticker and one working brake light. A vehicle displaying Ohio temporary tag M360133 was observed to have expired registration and only one working brake light. The driver was found to be under suspension and the passenger gave police a false name. Both were cited and released.
DUS/Drugs
A driver was pulled over at 3:10 a.m. July 10 for a suspended license. Marijuana was also found inside the car and the driver was additionally charged with drug abuse.
