From the Arizona Department of Public Safety: From Arizona Department of Public Safety: One morning in November 2022, Metro Motors Trooper Patrick Stoner was doing speed enforcement on Interstate 10 between 51st Avenue and 43rd Avenue in Phoenix when he heard a persistent “meow” coming from somewhere nearby. A quick look around revealed a small, injured cat in the median, hiding from rush hour traffic behind a cement barrier.

About a dozen employees at PFS TECO at 1507 Matt Pass were sent home, and police found the former employee in Middleton. Police did not release his name but say he’s been tentatively charged with making terrorist threats, disorderly conduct while armed, and unlawful use of communications systems.
