Regional Medical Center’s Governing Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Danette Kramer, MBA, CHFP, as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Kramer has 25 years of hospital leadership experience. She has served as the Chief Financial Officer at RMC since 2000.
“We [the Governing Board of Trustees] are very excited to have Danette serve in the role of Chief Executive Officer. We believe she is the right fit to lead Regional Medical Center. She possesses a deep knowledge of healthcare. Her passion, dedication, and experience in several key areas will serve us well and we look forward to her leadership,” said Chris Tegeler, Governing Board Chairperson.
Danette and her husband, Kurt, and their two children, Grant (16) and Zach (15), live in Manchester. She says, “It is with both excitement and humility that I accept the CEO role at Regional Medical Center. As the previous Chief Financial Officer, I have a strong understanding of the business of healthcare. I look forward now to expanding my focus to our Mission of improving the health of our communities.”
When asked what excites her about leading RMC, Danette stated, “I know first-hand what an amazing team of people we have at this organization, many of whom I’ve worked side-by-side with for the past 20+ years. We are honored to be the healthcare provider in our close-knit communities, and we will work tirelessly to build on our foundation of high quality healthcare, close to home.”
Kramer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Northern Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Iowa. She also earned the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
