JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s is looking for an unknown man who beat a male Wendy’s worker Monday morning on Southside Blvd.
Police say the victim was leaving work and walking to his car when an unknown man approached him with a tire iron.
JSO says the suspect began hitting the victim and demanding money. Witness of the incident then began to intervene making the suspect flee.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police that the suspect was wearing all black clothing. Several of the witnesses remained on scene and spoke with officers.
